Zen Forest Fleece Hoodie

‼️WARNING: long post alert‼️ 🤨 If you knew me in my 20’s you’d probably say I was pretty mature for my age, but looking back I’d say I was actually pretty impatient. I had lots of goals and dreams to achieve and I wanted them all to happen NOW! 🏃🏼‍♀️⁣ ⁣ Coming back from my latest trip to Cartagena, while waiting for our luggage, I looked up at ricabusta and started to cry. 😭 They were happy tears…because now I finally understand the joy and satisfaction of working hard at something, persevering through struggle, trusting your gut, walking towards the life you want to live even if you don’t know the way. ⁣ ⁣ The journey for my hubby and I to move from Cartagena to NYC took over two years of long distance. It was followed immediately by the pandemic and lots of personal struggle along with job instability. These are things I don’t always talk about on this page as I try to focus on yoga, yet I realize my struggles also influence the way I teach. Visiting Cartagena this time and seeing my friends and family prosper there, plus coming back to NYC to a life I love, reminded me that trusting my gut was worth it! ⁣ ⁣ 💓 I know in my heart now that good things take time ⏳ and if the direction you’re going in lights your soul on fire ✨🔥 then it’s worth the wait despite all the blood, sweat and tears often needed to get there. 💦⁣ ⁣ 🤔 Do you know that feeling? ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ If you made it this far…*high five* 🙌🏼 Wanted to also mention that I’m enjoying this hoodie weather in NYC. ☺️ Thank you to rbxactive for keeping me cozy!
